A-2 Steak Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of molasses (dark)
3 Tbsps of Kosher salt
2 onions (green); chopped
3 Tbsps of dry mustard
1 tsp of paprika
1/2 tsp of garlic seasoning
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
6 Tbsps of extract (tamarind)
1 tsp of black pepper
1 Tbsp of kitchen boquet
1/2 tsp of fenugreek
1 tsp of ground cloves
1/2 tsp of ginger
1/4 tsp of Tabasco-sauce
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of cardamom seed
6 ounces of wine (Rhine)
2 ounces of wine (red)
A pint of white vinegar
1 Caramel coloring
Instructions:
Combine & process all dry ingredients in blender ’til finely powdered. Transfer into saucepan placed over low-heat then add 1/2 vinegar, simmer for 60 mins.
Gradually add remaining vinegar. Add coloring, kitchen-boquet, wines & Tabasco, cook mixture for 3 mins ’til dissolved. Remove pan from the heat.
You pour this mixture into crockpot then stand w/ cover about 7 days. Pass through clean cheesecloth 6 times. Store inside your fridge.
