Alfredo Sauce Over Fettuccine Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz of fettuccine (uncooked)
Wine (white, dry)
3 pcs of garlic cloves (large); chopped finely
1/4 c of bell pepper (red); chopped finely
1/4 c of onions (green); sliced
1/4 c of parsley (fresh); chopped
1 Tbsp of flour
1-1/2 c of evaporated milk (skim)
1/2 tsp of basil (leaves)
1/4 tsp of oregano (leaves)
1/4 c of nutritional yeast (or Parmesan)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to its package instructions. Drain and keep them warm.
Saute the garlic with wine for one min. Add red pepper, parsley, flour, and onion; cook them for a min while constantly stirring.
Gradually add the milk while stirring continuously till blended well. Let it boil while constantly stirring.
Cook mixture for 3-5 mins till sauce becomes thick and boiling, stir occasionally. Take out from the heat then add oregano and basil; stir thoroughly. Toss in cooked pasta till coated well. Sprinkle over the yeast.
