Alfredo Sauce Recipe II
Ingredients:
1-1/2 c of cheese curd (lowfat Cottage Cheese)
2 pcs of garlic cloves; minced or crushed
2 Tbsps of flour (all purpose)
1 tsp of juice (lemon)
1 tsp of basil (dried)
1/2 tsp of mustard (dry)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
8 oz of cooked pasta; drained
1 pc of tomato (whole); seeded then chopped
Instructions:
Combine garlic and cheese curd inside the processor till smooth then add the flour, juice, mustard, basil, salt and pepper.
Process mixture till blended well. Pour onto the saucepan and cook above moderate heat till thick. Don’t boil the mixture.
Serve hot over cooked pasta. Sprinkle tomatoes on top. Serve.
