Apple Pudding With Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of butter (unsalted)
3/4 cup of sugar (refined)
1 piece of egg (large)
2 cups of apples; grated
1 cup of flour; sifted
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (ground)
1/4 cup of chopped nuts
For the Butter Sauce:
1/4 cup of margarine
1/4 cup of sugar (refined)
1/4 cup of evaporated milk (or evaporated skim milk)
1/4 cup of sugar (brown)
Instructions:
Beat together sugar with butter till creamy. Add flour, soda, apple, egg, nuts, and cinnamon; mix thoroughly.
Transfer on greased 8-inch pan and bake inside the oven 350 degrees F, about 30 to 35 mins. Serve at once with the warm sauce.
For the sauce, combine margarine, milk, and sugars; stir thoroughly above moderate heat till sugar dissolves completely.
