Applesauce Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 c of applesauce (unsweetened)
1 c of sugar (refined)
1/2 c of butter & lard
1 pc of egg (large)
2 c of flour; sifted
1 c of chopped raisins
1 c of nut
1 tsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1 tsp of soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of cloves

Instructions:

Combine applesauce, sugar, butter, egg, flour, raisins, nut, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and cloves; mix them well.

Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture into greased baking sheets. Place inside the oven and bake at 375 degrees F until done.
