Apricot Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of apricots (dried)
3/4 c of juice (apple)
1/2 c of juice (orange)
1/4 c of honey (pure)
2 Tbsps of water
2 tsps of cornstarch
Ground ginger (to taste)
Ground cinnamon (to taste)
1 Tbsp of vermouth (sweet)
Instructions:
Cover (apple) juice onto apricots inside a saucepan; let it boil. Once boiling, reduce heat then let it simmer for half an hour, uncovered; stir occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
Let mixture cool and strain, save the liquid then chop apricots; place on the side. Combine (orange) juice, water, honey, ginger, cinnamon, and ginger inside a 2-qt saucepan above moderate heat; stir constantly till slightly thick.
Take out from heat then add vermouth and apricots together with its saved liquid. Serve the sauce well-chilled or hot.
