Basic White Sauce & Cheese Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
For the White Sauce:
1 Tbsp of Betty’s butter
3 tsps of arrowroot
3 tsps of milk (evap)
1/8 tsp of pepper (white)
1/8 tsp of salt
For the Cheese Sauce:
1/4 c of shredded cheese sauce
Instructions:
Heat the butter on a nonstick skillet. Add the arrowroot and slowly add the milk; stir constantly and cook till sauce becomes thick. Add salt and pepper; stir thoroughly.
(Cheese Sauce)
Add the cheese into the hot mixture of sauce; stir thoroughly and cook till cheese melts.
