Basil Pesto Sauce Over Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz of pasta (linguine)
1-1/4 c of basil (fresh); chopped
1/3 c of stock (chicken or water)
2 Tbsps of roasted nuts (pine)
2 Tbsps of cheese (Parmesan)
3 Tbsps of oil (olive oil)
1 tsp of garlic; crushed
Instructions:
Cook the pasta as stated in its package directions till ‘al dente’. Drain then place on a bowl. Combine basil, nuts, stock, oil, garlic, and cheese inside the processor; process till pureed smoothly. Pour onto the pasta; toss them well.
