Basting Sauce For Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
12 lbs of chuck (or arm roast)
2 tsps of mustard (dry)
2 tsps of salt (onion)
2 Tbsps of mayonnaise
1 tsp of pepper
2 Tbsps of vinegar
2 tsps of salt (celery)
2 tsps of salt
1/2 tsp of salt (garlic)
2 Tbsps of condiment sauce (Kitchen Bouquet)
Instructions:
Combine mustard, salts, pepper, mayonnaise, vinegar, and condiments; mix thoroughly. Place the chuck inside the roaster, add 1-inch of water.
Cook for 3 to 4 hrs till done, covered. Add the sauce then baste the meat. Continue cooking till tender, covered.
