Bechamel Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

4 Tbsps of butter (sweet)
6 Tbsps of flour (unbleached)
2 c of milk
Nutmeg (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

Melt the butter on a saucepan then sprinkle flour on top; cook mixture gently for five mins, while constantly stirring.

Don’t let mixture turn brown. Simultaneously, boil milk on another saucepan. Once milk boils, take out the butter mixture out from heat then pour milk inside; whisk thoroughly.

Once bubbling has ceased, place pan back above moderate heat then let it boil for five mins; stir constantly. Season nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Place inside the refrigerator, covered, till ready for serving.
