Berry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of strawberries (fresh)
1/3 c of sugar (refined)
1 Tbsp of juice (lemon)
1/4 tsp of lemon zest
2 tsps of cornstarch
2 Tbsps of cognac
Instructions:
Cook the strawberries with sugar till hot. Press them forcefully through the sieve. Combine cognac and cornstarch; mix thoroughly until smooth then add the strawberry mixture.
Cook above gentle heat; stir constantly till mixture becomes thick and clear. Serve hot over fresh fruits or serve cold over sherbets.
