Carbonara Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsps of butter (unsalted)
8 pcs of bacon strips; cut into 1/4-strips
2 pcs of eggs (large)
2 pcs of egg yolks (large)
1 tsp of pepper flakes (red)
1 c of cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 c of cream (heavy)
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper (black)
1 lb of spaghetti
Instructions:
Beat butter till creamy. Combine yolks with eggs on a separate bowl; whisk thoroughly till blended well. Add half cup of cheese. Preheat a large baking dish inside the oven at 200 degrees F.
Cook pasta as stated in its package directions; drain. Meanwhile, cook bacon on a skillet till crisp; drain off one-half the fat then add cream, and (pepper) flakes. Stir them well and let it simmer; keep it warm.
Transfer the cooked pasta on a hot bowl then add (creamed) butter; stir thoroughly till coated well. Add bacon/cream mixture; stir thoroughly.
Add cheese and mixture of egg; stir thoroughly. Season salt & pepper. Serve hot with freshly grated Parmesan.
