Meatballs & Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of ground pepper (black)
1/2 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)
1 lb of lean beef (ground, or turkey or chicken)
1 Tbsp of oil (olive oil)
2 pcs of onions (medium); chopped coarsely
4 pcs of garlic cloves; crushed
14 oz of tomato sauce (canned)
1/2 c of wine (red)
1 pc of sweet pepper (green)
1 tsp of basil leaf (dried)
1/2 tsp of oregano leaf
Instructions:
Form the meat to 1-inch balls. Heat the oil on a saucepan above moderate heat then add garlic and onions; saute them for two mins.
Add tomato sauce, wine, sweet pepper, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and meatballs. Cover then let it boil, while stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat then let it simmer for 15 mins while stirring occasionally.
