Pasta With Marinara Sauce & Ricotta Recipe
Ingredients:
3 bacon slices; diced
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp of flaked redpepper
14 ounces of Marinara-sauce
15 ounces of partly skimmed cheese (Ricotta)
1/4 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 c of chopped flat-leaved parsley
1/2 tsp of pepper (ground)
1 pound of cooked ziti
Instructions:
Cook the bacon pieces in large-sized saucepan ’til crisp then drain them on paper-towels. You discard a tablespoon of oil drippings. You add the flaked pepper & onions then cook them over mid-heat.
Stir often for five mins ’til tender. You add the marinara0sauce then boil mixture.
Beat pepper, salt, Parmesan & ricotta using your electric mixer ’til creamy. Add parsley then immediately toss w/ bacon & marinara-sauce. Blend pasta in, tossing ’til combined.
