Peanut Sauce (Nuoc Leo) Recipe
Ingredients:
2 chopped garlic cloves
2 Tbsps of veggie oil
2 livers of chicken
2 Tbsps of dark soysauce
2 Tbsps of crunchy style peanut-butter
1/4 c of chili (red); seeded and chopped
Water
2 Tbsps of sugar
Instructions:
Saute livers & garlic in oil ’til very dark in color. Place in processor, grind ’til formed into thickened paste then return this into pan. Add rest of your ingredients.
Add some water then simmer for 2 minutes ’til sauce thickens, stirring often. Have this refrigerated for a maximum of two weeks.
Can be used as dipping-sauce for meatballs.
